Flew…thought I conquered
I scanned horizons
Never blundered
Always had reasons
My wings span wide
I flew great distances
Everything was quite a great ride
Until unprecedented circumstances
Once, I dared anything
Until I began understanding
I couldn’t have everything
Can’t always be a giant in living.
Thought I figured everything out
Now I’m out of reasons
The view from atop brought confusions
I have lost my passion
Nothing is worse than flying and not seeing
Beyond the clouds gathering
The flight is exhausting
Need to find a place of resting
Like success does not come without a test
So does an eagle need rest
Like people getting tired of trying
An eagle too occasionally stops flying
===========================================================
The Road to Success is not straight:
There is a curve called failure, a loop called confusion, speed bumps called friends, caution lights called family, and you will have flats called jobs.
But, if you have a spare called determination, an engine called perseverance, endurance called faith, and a driver called God, you will make it to a place called success!
